Community Groups
In order for your Disciple to mature in Christ successfully they will need God’s family involved in their life. This is where a COMMUNITY GROUP comes in.
A COMMUNITY GROUP is a group of Disciples ranging between 20-50 people. The size is large enough to lessen the pressure of relational commitment yet small enough to provide opportunities for deeper connections and familiarity.
The Goals / Benefits:
A great place for Disciples to share common goals, interests and mission opportunities (allowing this group to sometimes be referred to as Missional Communities)
A safe and healthy place to Practice putting faith and talents into action and finding their ' Ministry Role' in the Body of Christ
To get a better understanding of a Community Group and its context think of a Family Reunion gathering where family and extended family who have something (bloodline) in common come to enjoy some fellowship and possibly even purpose together.
